Amid huge criticisms over the leakage of question papers of different public examinations, the government has decided to hold the Primary Education Completion Examination (PEC) with 100 percent creative and competency-based questions from this year, reports UNB. The National Academy for Primary Examination (NAPE) on Sunday issued a notice in this regard. The structure of creative questions and mark distribution was finalised through holding a national workshop and as per the Ministry’s decision 100 percent competency-base questions will be formulated for each subject, the notice said. In 2017, the PEC exam was held with 80 percent competency-based questions while 65 percent in 2016.
