‘Black Panther’ hits Star Cineplex

‘Black Panther’ a 2018 American superhero film released at Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall of the capital yesterday. Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, the film has been produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

The film is directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay by him and Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman and others

The plot follows after the film ‘Captain America: Civil War’, T'Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda in a terrorist attack.

‘Black Panther’ premiered in Los Angeles on January 29, 2018. The film received critical acclaim, with praise for the direction, costume design, action sequences, soundtrack, and performances of the cast, and some calling it one of the best films set in the MCU, noting its cultural impact.

Showtime: 11am, 1:55pm, 4:30pm, 4:50pm, 7:30pm
