A fire broke out in a residential building at Japan Garden City in the capital Mohammadpur area yesterday, reports UNB.

Mizanur Rahman, duty officer of fire service and civil defense central control room, said the fire broke out on the fourth floor of house No 13 in Japan Garden City around 12:28pm. On information, three units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame around 1pm. However the origin of the fire could not be known yet and no casualties were reported.
