Jessore Ex-Shaheens reunion tomorrow

Ex-Shaheen Association Jessore (ESAJ) is going to hold its first grand reunion in the Birshrestha Matiur Rahman Base in Jessore tomorrow.

ESAJ reunion convener Achinto Kumar Dhar said, “As many as 2000 former students of BAF Shaheen College have so far registered both online and offline for the grand get-together of our alma mater.”   

Another organizer from Ex-Shaheen Batch 90 Zahid Hasan said, “The gala will start from tomorrow with a colourful procession from the heart of the city which will parade through the city’s main streets, starting from Town Hall Maidan.” “But the main function of the grand reunion will start at 9:30 on Friday on the school campus,” he added

“To ensure security the local police administration in collaboration with Bangladesh Air Force is doing all the verification processes of the participants of the grand reunion as the programme is going to be held in the heart of Jessore BAF base,” Superintendent of Police, Jessore, Anisur Rahman said.

Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, NDC, ACSC, who is the current and 14th Chief of the Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, will be the chief guest of the function. Head of registration wing of ESAJ Abu Sayeed Chanchal said that though 2000 school-leavers registered but with the spouses and guests the number will rise to 4000 participants in the gala celebration.
