Symon’s dream of acting with Sucharita comes true

Seasoned actress Sucharita and young actor Symon Sadik are working together in a new film titled ‘Amar Ma Amar Behest’ directed by Badiul Alam Khokon. With the opportunity of working with Sucharita for the first time, Symon’s long-cherished dream of acting with Sucharita has finally come true. Sucharita has portrayed a variety of characters in her nearly fifty-year long aspiring career. She has always been picky about her portrayal in a film. In her upcoming film ‘Amar Ma Amar Behest’, she will be playing the role of the mother of actor Symon. Sucharita said about working in the film, “I act in a film, if I like the story and the character of the film. I liked the story of ‘Amar Ma Amar Behest’, besides liking the character as well. Badiul Alam Khokon is a talented and experienced director. I am enjoying acting in the film.”

On the other hand, Symon expressed his experience about working with the veteran actress, “I dreamt of acting with Sucharita madam. It did not feel that I am working with her for the first time. I am enthralled by her humbleness.”

DhakaLive has news that Sucharita took part in the shooting of the film in the capital’s Film Development Corporation (FDC) on Saturday.

Beginning her acting career as a child artiste in 1969 with the film ‘Babul’, Sucharita was cast as the lead actress in the film ‘Shikriti’ in 1972 and won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 1993 for her portrayal in the film ‘Hangor Nodi Grenade’.

Sucahrita’s notable films are ‘Hangor Nodi Grenade’, ‘Ajante’, ‘Taka’, and ‘Danga’, among others.
