‘No alternative to Sheikh Hasina
for development of Bangladesh’

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan yesterday said there is no alternative to Sheikh Hasina for the development of Bangladesh. They are working against terrorism and extremism under her leadership for a developed country. He made this comment at a public meeting as the chief guest after inaugurating a newly built thana complex in Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat district. Nobody is above law. Law enforcers are also getting punished if they commit crime, he said.

“Our prime minister has been honoured as a leader of humanity after giving sheltre to the Rohingyas,” said the minister. Urging people to vote for the 'boat' symbol in the next general election he said the country witnessed the development whenever Awami League is in power. The country is going forward towards development. She has now become an honest leader to the world through many of her achievements.

He also said about seven lakh Rohingyas have been registered and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is looking into their problems. She is trying her best to send them back to their own country.

Today’s public meeting proves that people of this area love Sheikh Hasina very much. He urged everybody to vote for the ‘boat’ symbol for the continuation of development process.

Among others, State Minister for Social Welfare Ministry Nuruzzaman Ahmed, Motahar Hossain, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on primary and mass education, Safura Begum MP, DIG Golam Faruk of Rangpur region, Deputy commissioner (DC) of Lalmonirhat Shafiul Arif, Advocate Motiar Rahman, district council chairman, Hatibandha UZ Chairman Liakat Ali Bacchu and Police Super of Lalmonirhat Rashidul Haque presided were present there.
