Spring fest celebrated

The Spring Festival (Basanta Baran Utsav) was celebrated in Barisal with much enthusiasm. Pahela Falgun, the first day of spring in the Bangla calendar, has been greeted in the city amid festivity yesterday. All the 26 college campuses of the city organised the various programmes on their campuses respectively. The main Basanta Baran festival was held on Government Women College campus that was inaugurated by chairman of Barisal Education Board Prof M Ziaul Haque. All the principals of the colleges of the city attended the programme.
