Rusk Ice Cream

Bored of having rusk with tea and milk? Try this interesting ice cream recipe made with rusk, milk and mint leaves

INGREDIENTS


6 rusk
4 teaspoon condensed milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 litre milk
4 drops vanilla essence
1 sprig mint leaves


Methods

Step 1
Boil the milk in a pan over medium flame. Add sugar and mix well.

Step 2
Boil till it reduces to 3/4th. Pour 1/4 of the boiled milk over 2 rusks and blend together in a mixer for 5 minutes.

Step 3
Add condensed milk and vanilla essence. Blend again for 2 more minutes.

Step 4
Add this to the remaining milk and transfer to freezer safe ice cream bowls.

Step 5
Keep it in the freezer for 1 hour or until set.

Step 6
Place one scoop on each rusk, garnish with mint leaves and serve.
