The tasty Eggnog

A sweet flavoured drink that is specially made on the occasion of Christmas, it is extremely easy-to-make. Kids will certainly enjoy this sweet shake recipe!!!

    Ingredients
    

    8 cup milk
    1 1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon nutmeg powder

    10 egg
    1 cup heavy cream
    2 tablespoon vanilla extract
    1 dash nutmeg

    
    Methods
    
    Step 1
    Crack eggs into a saucepan and add sugar and salt in it. Whisk them together until its frothy.
    
    Step 2
    Put a pan on medium flame and stir 4 cups of milk in it, lower the flame and cook stirring continously. Cook for 25 minutes until custard thickens (don't boil or it will curdle).
 
    Step 3
    Pour custard into a large bowl and stir in vanilla extract along with ground nutmeg. Now stir in another quart of milk.

    Step 4
    Cover the bowl and refrigerate until the mixture is well chilled, at least for 3 hours.

    Step 5
    Before serving, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Then, with a whisk, gently fold the whipped cream into the custard mixture.

    Step 6
    Finally, pour the eggnog and sprinkle with nutmeg for a garnish.
