Mousumi Hamid turns anchor

Lustrous model-actress Mousumi Hamid, who has been trying to prove her ability as a skilled artiste through acting in tele-drama, telefilm and films, will be seen as an anchor for the first time.

DhakaLive has news that Mousumi Hamid has turned an anchor in the ongoing show titled ‘Ajker Ananya’ on Gazi TV. Meanwhile, the shooting of a few episodes of the TV show, anchored by Mousumi Hamid, has already been completed. She took part in the non-stop shooting on Tuesday and Wednesday on a shooting floor at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the capital.

Mousumi Hamid shared her experience of working as an anchor for the first time, “It’s a new experience, and while carrying out the responsibility of an anchor, I have truly gathered a different experience. Every moment, I felt it’s a very challenging job. One has to know many things; otherwise, it’s not possible to move forward with anchoring. I am grateful to the Gazi TV management for providing me a chance of anchoring the programme.”

Mousumi Hamid informed DhakaLive that the episodes anchored by her will go on air very soon.

On the other hand, returning from Bagerhat after completing the shooting of a short film titled ‘Shesh Dekha’, Mousumi Hamid is taking part in the shooting of her new assignment ‘Ajker Ananya’.

To note, actress Badhon is the anchor of the earlier episodes of ‘Ajker Ananya’.
