Some political parties funding militancy: Asaduzzaman

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said that the police have evidence of local groups funding militancy.

He was speaking at a programme to provide warm clothing to underpriviliged people in the capital on Wednesday.

The DMP chief claims that a few local political parties are funding militant groups in the country. He added that the police are gathering intelligence reports on these party leaders and their links in foreign countries.
