Maj Gen (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PRAN-RFL Group, died of old-age complications in the USA on Wednesday. He was 76, reports UNB.
He breathed his last at Duke Medical College in North Carolina of the USA around 7:15pm Bangladesh time, said a press release. He left behind wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Soldier-turned-businessman, Maj Gen Chowdhury started his business career in 1980. He is the founder president of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and former president of Underprivileged Children’s Education Programme (UCEP).
