49th anniv of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh, Russia celebrated

Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka hosted a webinar marking the 49th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Russia on Monday, January 25, said a press release.

Freedom fighters, cultural personalities, journalists and students from different universities of Dhaka attended the online meeting.

Director of the RCSC Maxim Dobrokhotov welcomed everyone and gave importance to the continuity in building bilateral cooperation. He also emphasized Russia’s contribution to the culture and education sectors and added that these are the key to good relations between the two nations. 

After completing higher education from Russian universities, Bangladeshi students are playing a significant role in the development holding high positions in public and private organizations, the Director noted.
