Community Bank signs agreement with Titas Gas over bill collection

Community Bank Bangladesh Limited and Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Ltd (TGTDCL) have signed an agreement over its bill collection.

Managing Director and CEO of Community Bank Masihul Huq Chowdhury and Company Secretary of Titas Gas Yakub Khan signed the agreement in presence of Managing Director of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Ali Iqbal Md Nurullah at the head office of Titas Gas, Kawran Bazar, in Dhaka on Monday.

Under the agreement, Community Bank will collect Titas Gas bill from customers through its branches across the country, according to a press release.

Munir Hossain Khan, general manager-administration, ASM Ziaul Hoque, director-finance, Zakir Hossain, DGM-Finance, Mahbubur Rahman, DGM-Accounts, Tariq Anis Khan, DGM-Software Department and Humayun Kabir Khan, manager-cash and bank on behalf of Titas Gas, and Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan, SEVP and Chief Information Technology Officer, SaifulAlam FCS, EVP and Company Secretary and Zalal Uddin Ahmed, VP, branch manager-corporate branch from Community Bank, were present among the senior members from both companies on the occasion.

Commenting on the occasion Managing Director and CEO, Community Bank Bangladesh Limited, Mr. MasihulHuq Chowdhury said, "We are going to offer world-class digital banking solution for Titas Gas customers so that they can pay their bills any time from anywhere of the country.
