Former Education Secretary and Director General of BIAM Foundation Mohammad Shahidul Alam died of Covid-19 at Combined Military Hospital on Friday morning.
He was 76.
He is survived by his wife, five children, grandchildren and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
He was buried in his home town in Rangpur.
