DNCC requests people to refrain from visiting graveyards

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has requested people to refrain from offering ziarat at the graveyards under the city corporation to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

The DNCC authorities suspended different activities including offering ziarat , dua and munazat at the graveyards to maintain social distancing and protect people from coronavirus infection, said DNCC Public Relations Officer ASM Mamun.

However, the burial activities will continue as usual , he said.
