Dhaka University will remain closed from March 18 to 28.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman made the announcement at a press briefing on Monday morning.
On Sunday, students representing most of the departments of Dhaka University (DU) started boycotting their academic activities as part of their demand for temporary suspension of academic activities o the campus.
