Make renewable energy available, says Nasrul

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid yesterday underscored the need for more research aiming to make the renewable energy available for the people.

“Necessary initiatives should be taken for conducting more research to make the renewable energy available for the common people”, said the state minister while addressing as the chief guest at an innovative idea hunting grand finale competition on the use of renewable energy at Sheikh Hasina National Youth Centre here.

Despite the price of the renewable energy is comparatively higher, but this sort of the energy is becoming popular in the developed world due to its environment friendliness, said Nasrul at the function arranged by Young Bangla in cooperation with Power Cell and Green Delta Life Insurance Limited.

Power Cell Director General Mohammad Hossain and Managing Director ofGreen Delta Life Insurance Limited Farzana Chowdhury also spoke on the occasion among others.
