The popular cinematographer Mahfuzur Rahman Khan has passed away early Friday. He breathed his last around 12:26 am at the capital’s United Hospital.
The first namaz-e-janaza will be held at Chawkbazar Shahi Mosque after Jummah Prayer. Then his body will be taken to BFDC where his second namaz-e-janaza will be held. Later, Mahfuzur Rahman Khan will be buried at Azimpur Graveyard, sources confirmed.
Mahfuzur Rahman Khan was born on May 19, 1949, at Hakim Habibur Rahman Road in Old Dhaka.
He is not only a cinematographer but worked as a film director.
He won the National Film Award several times.
