Two-day watercolour workshop concludes at Shilpakala today

A two-day watercolour workshop--followed by an exhibition--will conclude today at the National Art Gallery (ground floor) of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in Segun Bagicha of the capital.

Celebrated actor-director-playwright Azad Abul Kalam inaugurated the event as the chief guest yesterday. Artist Kishor Mojumdar, founder of Ontor Kotha Rahim Sumon and other cultural personalities were present at the event.

Organised by Ontor Kotha, a TSC-based cultural studies and development centre, 38 participants across the country are taking part in the workshop. Artist Kishor Mojumdar is conducting the entire workshop.

Yesterday, on the first day of the workshop, the participants were given lessons on the basic, theoretical and practical of watercolour.

The two-day workshop will come to an end today at 4pm.
