FBCCI team off to Canada

A six-member business delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), led by its President Sheikh Fazle Fahim, left the capital yesterday to attend “Bangladesh-Canada Business Forum” and “13th Toronto Global Forum” to be held from September 3 to 5 in Toronto, Canada.

Sheikh F Fahim will attend the inaugural segment of Bangladesh-Canada Business Forum-2019 on September 3, said a press release.

The Forum has jointly been organised by Consulate General of Bangladesh in Toronto and Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC). FBCCI Chief will make a power point presentation on ‘Why’ and ‘What’ Canadian business should view in Bangladesh?’ at the forum.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FBCCI and Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) will be signed at the Forum in presence of Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario Victor Fedeli.

FBCCI President will also attend the 13th Toronto Global Forum which will take place on September 5. He will speak on ‘Industrial Innovation, Accelerating Productivity and Competitiveness’ at the forum.

Besides the forum, the FBCCI team will also meet the Toronto City Deputy Mayor and High Officials of Humber Institute of Technology and Advancement Learning, International Training and Development Seneca College, Ontarion Institute for Studies in Education and Behavioral Economics in Action

Rotman of University of Toronto.

FBCCI vice presidents M Rejaul Karim Rejnu and Nizamuddin Rajesh and FBCCI directors Sujib Ranjan Dash and Monir Hossain will also attend the forum.
