On the eve of the National Mourning Day, ‘Shedin Sraboner Megh Chhilo’ and ‘Pochattorer Diary’— two documentary films are going to be aired on two different satellite TV channels in the evening today.

Marking the 44th martyrdom anniversary of father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members, the documentary films will be aired on ATN Bangla and Channel i respectively.

Based on the narrative ‘Mohamanober Deshe’ written by Sahid Rahman, the documentary films are all based on the events surrounding the assassination of the Father of the Nation.

With the screenplay written by Rakesh Basu, Sumon Dhar has directed the documentary film ‘Pochattorer Diary’. The film casts Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shahadat Hossain, Manoj Kumar Pramanik, Tania Brishty, Jahangir Alom and Master Shakil.

Under the direction of Rajibul Islam Rajib, the documentary film ‘Shedin Sraboner Megh Chhilo’ casts Azad Abul Kalam, Rawnak Hasan, Himi and Mizanur Rahman in different roles.

The documentary film ‘Shedin Sraboner Megh Chhilo’ will be aired on ATN Bangla at 6pm while ‘Pochattorer Diary’ will be aired on Channel i at 7:45pm.
