Entertaining the audiences for more than last seven years, ‘Noashal’, an immensely popular drama serial on RTV directed by popular actor-director Mir Sabbir, is all set to end with its final episode tonight.

The 871st episode of ‘Noashal’ is scheduled to air tonight at 9:20pm.

The story of the drama serial began with two influential persons of Mohanpur village. They are Shahabuddin, played by ATM Shamsuzzaman, and Kubbat Ali, played by Khairul Alam Sabuj, hail from Noakhali and Barisal respectively. Their families live closely together for a long time and share a wonderful relationship, but they also get involved in quarrels on different issues which often causes commotion.

However, forgetting their clashes, they live happily again like before. As the members of these two families are from Noakhali and Barisal region, the villagers fondly call them ‘Noa-shal’ together as they enjoy their commotions.

The drama portrays entire Bangladesh through laughters-tears, joy-sorrows, happiness, pain and clashes of the two families. That is why, ‘Noashal’ is not merely a name of a drama serial, but also this is the ultimate reflection of the whole Bangladesh, according to ‘Noashal’ director.

MIr Sabbir said about the journey of ‘Noashal’, “Initially, I had planned for 52 or 104 episodes. But it’s like a dream to me that ‘Noashal’ is set to end at 871st episode. Actually, there is no end of ‘Noashal’. I believe ‘Noashal’ will be cherished in the hearts of the viewers for decades.”

“I am grateful to every cast, crew and entire family of ‘Noashal’ for their cordial and unconditional support throughout this long journey. I also thank the RTV family for their intensive support to make ‘Noashal’ a great success.”

The drama serial will conclude with reconciliation of the two family’s over ATM Shamsuzzaman’s sickness, the director informed.
