Law Minister Anisul Huq on Thursday urged BNP to join the parliament as its elected MPs have enough time to take oath.

“I think, BNP should come to the parliament to swear in….if they do not join the House, the country’s people will see what consequences are waiting for them,” he told journalists at Akhaura here before attending a reception at Kasba of his constituency.

About TIB’s report on the last general elections, Anisul said: “I do not read the report yet. After reading the report, I will make comment on it”.

Akhaura Municipality mayor Taqjil Khalifa Kajal, Akhaura upazila nirbahi

officer Mohammad Shamuzzaman and Pourashava Juba League president Monir Khan were, among others, present.BSS.
