Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Radio are broadcasting special programmes highlighting the importance of the day. The Shishu Academy also organised special events for children marking the day.

IF published special supplement while the national flag has been hoisted in government, semi-government, autonomous, private buildings and all the armed forces installations across the country.

Moreover, the National Flag and ‘Kaliya Teayiba’ written banner has also been hoisted in the important traffic zones of Dhaka city and the light posts.

Various organisations at upazila level hold discussions, milad and doa mahfil highlighting the life of the Prophet.
