Eminent Baul singer and an enlisted artiste of Khulna Betar (radio) Shariful Islam performed Lalon songs at a musical show at the Kobi Sufia Kamal auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum in the capital on Saturday evening.

Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) organised the musical show, where the audience enjoyed the performance of Lalon Sangeet by Md Shariful Islam (Sharif Sadhu).

Sharif Sadhu rendered the songs like ‘Asha Sindhu Teere Bose Achi Sodai’, ‘Ajotone Dublo Bhora’, ‘Amai Choron Chara Korona He’, ‘Ekdino Na Dekhilam Taare’, ‘Paap Punyer Kotha’, ‘Paar Koro Doyal Amay’, ‘Kothai He Doyal Kandari’ and ‘Milan Hobe Kotodine’.

During the entire programme, the artiste was accompanied by Nadim Srabon on keyboard, Bidyut Roy on octopad and Kamal Kanti Mondal on tabla.
