Road caves in beside Hotel Sundarban in capital

A road adjacent to Sundarban Hotel at Karwanbazar in the capital caved in into construction site of a building on Wednesday morning.

Duty officer of the fire service control room Inspector Monirul Islam said the road caved in into the hole dug up for construction of the building around 7:30am, leaving Sundarban Hotel in danger.

On information, a fire fighting unit rushed to the spot.

The guests of the hotel have been shifted to a safer place.
