While we agree bald is the new cool and sporting a bald head is beautiful, many of you are still worried about the loss of excessive hair. And, if you don't want to undergo an expensive hair fall treatment and still want to reverse your hair loss, here's some help - a look at 5 superfoods that can prevent you from losing hair further and may even reverse balding to some extent, at least in some cases.

1.Eggs and dairy products

It's a known fact that biotin (Vitamin B7) is a hair growth solution for people suffering from baldness and eggs along with milk, yogurt, cheese and other dairy products are loaded with biotin as well as other essential nutrients which encourage hair growth, such as proteins, vitamin B12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids.

2.Oats

While many of you don't think highly of that humble bowl of oats you eat as your breakfast every day, but you will be surprised to know that this readily available food item could be your weapon to fight baldness. Rich in fibre, zinc, omega-6 fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), oats also contain a high amount of vitamin B that helps promote hair growth. Also found in oats is beta glucan that strengthens the hair follicle.

3.Almonds

Almonds again contain a high amount of biotin content and magnesium, which is essential for growing healthy hair. Regular consumption of almonds makes the hair grow thicker, healthier and faster.

4.Walnuts

Thanks to the presence of omega fatty acids in walnuts, along with vitamin B7 (read biotin) that helps prevent hair fall and strengthens existing hair follicles besides encouraging regrowth, these nuts are an absolutely must-have for everyone who's battling hair loss.

5.Strawberries

When was the last time consumed strawberries knowing its health benefits? Well, we are pretty sure you don't even know that strawberries contain a lot of silica - mineral that is most important for hair growth. Also, strawberries have ellagic acid is which helps protect your hair from hair falling or thinning.
