Sweet Chili Thai Chicken Wings Recipe

These Chicken Wings are made in a special Thai sauce that add an extra flavor to this non-vegetarian recipe. Originated in Thailand, the spice levels in this dish can be adjusted according to one's taste buds. Very easy to prepare at home, they taste sweet and have a little crunch because of the fried chicken. These chicken wings are going to stand out amongst all the snack or appetizer recipes that you have chosen for the menu of your get together party. One of the most favorite party snack of all time, we assure you the guests are going to love this lip-smacking recipe like never before!

Ingredients of Sweet Chili Thai Chicken Wings

1/2 cup peanut oil
1/2 cup corn starch
salt as required
1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
2 Thai red chili
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
black pepper as required
1 kilograms chicken wings
1 1/2 tablespoon chilli garlic sauce

For Garnishing

7 chopped scallions

How to make Sweet Chili Thai Chicken Wings

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, black pepper and cornstarch. Mix well.

Step 2

Add the chicken wings to this bowl and mix well so that they have an even coating of this mixture. Keep it aside for minimum 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan over medium flame and once hot enough, drop these chicken wings to the pan. Fry them till they turn golden brown from all the sides.

Step 3

Transfer these fried chicken wings to a large serving plate and toss sweet chili sauce along with chili garlic sauce on top of it. Mix well. Your Sweet Chili Thai Chicken Wings are now ready. Garnish them with scallions and chopped Thai chilies and serve immediately.
