Audience-admired artistes Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Afran Nisho are coming together in a romantic tele-drama titled ‘Abong Megher Akash’ on the occasion of upcoming Pahela Baishakh.

Scripted and directed by Shamima Shammi, the tele-drama is scheduled to telecast on Banglavision on the eve of Pahela Baishakh.

DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama has been already completed at various locations in the capital’s Uttara area.

Afran Nisho shared his experience about working with Shamima Shammi for the first time, “Due to scheduling clash, I had to decline Shamima Shammi’s project earlier, even though I know that her writing and direction are really splendid. I really enjoyed working under her direction. Other reasons for my satisfaction about the tele-drama are--the script is good, an organised unit and co-starring with Tisha and noted actor Syed Hasan Imam which made the work amazing.”

Shamima Shammi said, “I usually try to direct my own scripts in tele-dramas, Whenever, I come up with a good idea, I try to write down and make it into the script. After the scripting is done, I direct the tele-drama myself. ‘Abong Megher Akash’ has been made in my style.”

About bringing Tisha and Nisho under her directorial for the first time, she said, “Tisha and Nisho are both talented artistes and I am really satisfied working with them. The tele-drama seems to be a great production and I hope the audiences will find liking to it.”
