New music video of Shusmita Anis ‘Tomar Akash’ hits YouTube

A new song titled ‘Tomar Akash’ of popular singer Shusmita Anis, niece and an accomplished disciple of the legendary artiste Feroza Begum, has been released on YouTube. The music video of the song uploaded on Shusmita Anis’s YouTube channel as well as on her Facebook page on Monday evening at the launching programme at a restaurant in the capital’s Baily Road.

Attending the event, artiste of the song Shusmita Anis, composer Adit Rahman, lyricist Sohel Arman and director of the music video Taneem Rahman Aungshu and model Tanjin Tisha expressed their feelings and shared experience.

Shusmita Anis said, “The song ‘Tomar Akash’ has been composed on a theme of a young girl’s dream, wandering mind and romanticizing love. Our efforts will be successful if the audience like it.”

“I always try to create something new for my audience, keeping in view a contemporary feel,” she added.

Shusmita Anis said about her earlier song, “Music lovers enjoyed and loved my earlier song ‘Keu Januk Ar Nai Januk’ and I am grateful to them for that. I hope that they would enjoy this song as well.”

Among others, singers Adit, Bappa Majumder, Manam Ahmed, Elita and Hameen Ahmed were present on the occasion.

‘Tomar Akash’ was filmed in the scenic snowy mountains of Dhampus in Pokhara, Nepal. The music video features popular model Tanjin Tisha and Nepalese model-actor Narayan Dhakal.
