REHAB fair starts in port city

A four-day housing and real estate fair began in Chittagong yesterday, said a press statement. Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Abdus Salam inaugurated the 11th REHAB Chittagong Fair 2018 as the chief guest at a ceremony at Hotel Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View. 

The CDA chairman pledged to simplify the flat and plot registration fees by March 2018.  Abdus Salam said the CDA is working to solve the problem of housing sector. 

The Chittagong chapter of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) is organising the fair for the 11th time in the county’s premier port capital. 

Around 59 real estate firms, financial institution, building material institution from Chittagong and Dhaka will participate in the fair to display their offers at 83 stalls, the statement added. 

The price of ticket for single entry day has been fixed at Tk 50, and Tk 100 fixed for multiple entry (maximum four entries). 

Abdul Kauiam Chowdhury, vice-president, Omar Farque, director and co-chairman, Didarul Haque, director and co-chairman of REHAB Chittagong regional committee, and ASM Abdul Gaffar Meyazi, convener of press and media, Chittagong Region of REHAB, were present during the inauguration ceremony.
