Three artistes from one family--dance artiste Munmun Ahmed, her husband singer Sujit Mustafa and their daughter Oparajita Mustafa--are going to take part in the same programme titled ‘Eki Brinte Puspatroyi’. The programme will be held today at 6:30pm at the auditorium of Chhyanaut in the capital’s Dhanmondi area.
DhakaLive has news that Oparajita will perform with her mother Munmun Ahmed in Kathak dance, while Sujit Mustafa will sing during their performance.
Organised by Rewaz Performers’ School, instrumental artistes from Bangladesh and India will accompany the performers at the programme. Among others, Apurba Dev, Nasir Uddin and Binod Roy from Bangladesh will play tabla, guitar and keyboard respectively. From India, Subir Tagore will play tabla and Sandip Niyogi on sitar.
