The play has been made based on a letter of Rabindranath Tagore. In 1993 a young boy of Shajatpur named Shri Haridas Basak wrote a letter to Rabindranth Tagore. Seeing that,  the villagers mocked him. But, Rabindranth replied to his letter, that time the villagers started to respect him. He then devoted himself to cultural activities. At the time of 1947, while many of the Indians left the country, Haridas Basak did not change his residence.
