Giving a surprise to everyone, audience-admired singer, composer, model and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan is set to step into the world of films. DhakaLive has news that the actor will be seen portraying the central role in Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz’s new film titled ‘Jodi Ekdin’.

Tahsan Rahman Khan has played many roles on the small screens, but he was never seen acting on the big screen. However, the actor signed contract with Bengal Multimedia on November 5 last year, but the news was kept a secret for a New Year surprise. The film is going to be the fifth film produced by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz and he informed that the venture is going to family-oriented film.

Tahsan, who will be playing the character of Faysal, said about working in the film, “I have got plenty of offers for working in the films, but I did not want it to be ordinary. I was looking for something unique and challenging. I found that uniqueness in Raz’s script. I will not say what the character is all about but I guarantee that the audience will find me in completely new avatar.”

Moreover, Taskin Rahman and Saberi Alam, among others, will share the screen with Tahsan in ‘Jodi Ekdin’. The script of the film is written by Asad Zaman and Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz himself. The songs of the film have already been made and the songs are sung by Tahsan, Konal, Imran, Nancy, Hridoy Khan, Porshi, Naved Parvej and Band Chirkutt.

To note, the film will be produced solely by Bengal Multimedia and the shooting of the film will begin from January 6.
