Khaleda should surrender before court: Inu

Information Minister and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASOD) President Hasanul Haq Inu today ( Friday ) said the arrest warrant against Begum Khaleda Zia has been issued in line with the directives by the court and she should surrender before court. 

"The arrest warrant has been issued against the BNP Chairperson as per the instruction of the court… she is not above the laws and she should surrender before the court," said the minister.

The Information Minister made this comment while he was exchanging views with his party leaders and workers at his residence at Golapnagar of Bheramara. Inu said if Begum Zia belief in democracy then she will appear before the court. She is not above the law. 

In reference of BNP's comment on arrest warrant against Begum Khaleda Zia, Inu told the party men that the government has some challenges just this moment which includes accomplishment of the parliament election in time foiling all the conspiracy. 

The Information minister said the international community has recognized the Rohingya crisis by holding repeated meetings of the UN Security Council. The minister added the UN Security Council is going to meet in an emergency meeting on Rohingya crisis.

Bheramara Upazila Nirbahi Office (UNO) Sohel Ahmed, Senior Information Officer of the district Towhiduzzaman, Bhermara Thana officer in Charge (OC) Aminul Islam and local Jasod leaders including District Jasod General Secretary Abdul Alim Shawpan, among others, were present there. bss
