Prangone Mor Theatre Week 2017 kicks off today

A weeklong theatre event titled ‘Prangone Mor Natya Saptaho 2017’ (Prangone Mor Theatre Week 2017) is set to kick off today on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital. The event, which will present seven plays by popular theatre troupe Prangone Mor, will bring one play on the stage every day at 7pm at the Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of BSA until October 18.

The opening day of the ‘Prangone Mor Theatre Week 2017’ will see the troupe’s popular play ‘Ami O Rabindranath’. The weeklong event will be inaugurated by eminent thespian Sara Zaker today.  

The other plays of the theatre week include—‘Irsha’ (October 13), ‘Shayma Prem’ (October 14), ‘Shesher Kobita’ (October 15), ‘Bibadi Sargam’ (October 16), ‘Awrangzeb’ (October 17) and finally, ‘Condemned Cell’ on the concluding day on October 18.

Tickets will be available before the show in front of the hall. One can call at 01917 1136606 for advance ticket.
