A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee was held in the Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram in the capital on Wednesday evening.

The Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on the 10th of Zilhaj month of the Hijri calendar.

One of the most important festival and a religious holiday, Eid ul-Azha is celebrated by Islam followers worldwide. Famous with names like Kurban  and the Feast of Sacrifice, this merriment is scheduled every year as per the moon or lunar based Islamic calendar.
