CHITTAGONG, Feb 3:  The law enforcing agencies including elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has taken special measures to control the law and order situation in the port city Chittagong for upcoming Eid E Miladun Nabi on Sunday (February 05). Fearing the attack of militants and miscreants the law enforcing agencies has started special raids in the city and rural areas in Chittagong from today.
According to the sources, huge police, RAB men and armed police battalion members will be deployed in the port city for resisting any unwanted situation here in Chittagong on the days of Eid E Miladun Nabi. Meanwhile, the CMP has started storm raids at the different spots in the port city to nab the criminals particularly the suspicious militants. CMP has started checking at the hotels and vehicles at the important spots in the port city today. 
However, Allamma Taher Shah, a spiritual leader of Muslim will attend at the different functions in the port city in observance of the   holly Eid E Miladun Nabi. So, the law enforcing agencies has given special attention over the security of Allamma Taher Shah and the Muslim people who will attend at the functions of holly Eid E Miladun Nabi, sources in CMP said.
In the meantime, several organizations and Muslim people has taken different programmes in observance of the Eid E Miladun Nabi in Chittagong.
It may be mentioned that the higher authority gave directives to the top officials of CMP and RAB to take special measures during for controlling the law and order situation and resist any anarchy by the war criminals.
