DHAKA, FEB 3: Daffodil International University (DIU) will celebrate its tenth foundation anniversary at Ashulia Model Town, Savar on Saturday at 11am, says a press release.
Professor Dr AK Azad Chowdhury, Chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh will attend the occasion as chief guest.
Talukdar Mohammad Towhid Jung Murad, MP, and Prof Dr Shariff Enamul Kabir, vice chancellor of Jahangirnagar University will be present as the special guests. Md Sabur Khan, chairman, Board of Trustees of DIU will preside over the programme, said the press release.
The daylong programmes include bus rally, pitha utshab, games and sports, fun events, celebrity show, raffle draw, picnic and live concert.
DIU started its operation from 2002. At present more than 8000 students studies at 17 under graduate and 9 masters programmes of the university.
