Jhenidah, Feb 3: A Swechhasebok League leader was arrested along with huge foreign currency and fake Bangladeshi Taka note in the town Thursday night.
The arrested was identified as Shamim Bulbul alias Saud, 35, son of Murad Ali of Kanchan Nagar in the town.
Having a complaint from Abdul Mannan, resident of town who is now doing business in Dhaka, RAB tracked his mobile phone and held him from his Kanchan Nagar residence.
Mannan complained that Saud over mobile phone demanded toll of Tk five lakh from him and also used to tease his daughter. UNB
