Speakers at a function yesterday lauded the role of the Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) for its contribution to policy formulation through trade related research. Their observations were made at an event organised to mark the 10th anniversary of the BEI at the Westin Hotel in the capital. Addressing the meeting information minister Abul Kalam Azad said that BEI contributed substantially to the policy making process through its research. “Many government agencies, private enterprises and national and international organizations are being benefited by their work,” Azad said.
