On March 3, the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre’s (BYLC) Youth Leadership Summit will begin in Dhaka on the theme ‘The Role of Courage in Leadership’.
Past and present participants of BYLC's youth leadership programmes and students from different universities across the country will take part in panel discussions and plenary sessions on some of the most pressing issues confronting Bangladesh today. Around two hundred delegates, selected through competitive application process, will network and exchange ideas with leading professionals, academicians, entrepreneurs and leaders in the public sector, including Dr. Gowher Rizvi, advisor to the Prime Minister and international advisory board member of the BYLC, and foreign secretary Mijarul Quayes. There will be leadership exercises and a youth survey project intended for policy-makers so they learn about the hopes and aspirations of the young generation. The closing ceremony will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on March 5.
