2nd International Uro-Oncology Congress, 2019

2nd International Uro-Oncology Congress was held in Dhaka Club and Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on 9 and 10 November respectively. It was organized by Urology and Transplantation Foundation of Bangladesh with the slogan of “Meet Tomorrow’s State of Art the Management of GU Cancer”.

It may be mentioned that under able guidance of founder president and CEO of UTFB Prof. M.A. Salam. The organization provides outstanding world class information, education, training and care of urological patients with multi-disciplinary cancer board through meeting, seminar, symposium and conferences.

They have conducted 164 multi-disciplinary tumour board meeting over last six years. The present congress was participated by foreign faculties like Prof. Dr. Laurence Klotz of dept. of surgery, university of Toronto cum chief of divisional urology Sunnybrock Health Centre, Dr. Henory Ho Sun Cien, head and senior consultant of Singapore General Hospital, Dr. Normoda Prasad Gupta, chairman Medanta Institute of Kidney and Urology, Delhi, Prof. Dr. Rajeev T.P, head of the dept. of the urology, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital and many other urologists, radiologists, immunologists, geneticists and oncologists of the country.

They exchanged information and experience through lectures, conversations and constructive debate. This sort of congress give great opportunities to our doctors to exchange and technology to improve their expertise.
