The 2018 China Longling Songshan Mountain Bike Downhill International Invitational Tournament was held on August 30th in Longling County, Yunnan Province. Chinese cyclists Liang Jinlong and Chen Yingyan from Guangdong Province won championships in the elite group and women’s group respectively.

After a day of competition, Liang Jinlong won the elite group championship with a time of 1 minute, 45 seconds, 714 milliseconds. Meanwhile, Chen Yingyan won the women’s group championship with a time of 2 minutes, 30 seconds, 581milliseconds.

The tournament was divided into an invited elite group, an elite group, a popular group, a youth group and a women’s group. All told, the race attracted nearly 100 cyclists from China, the Czech Republic, Canada and other countries and regions.

Longling County is located in western Yunnan Province, and the Yunnan-Myanmar Highway passes through it. The tournament was organized by the Longling Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau under the guidance of the Chinese Cycling Association and the China Bicycle Association. (Xinhua)
