Bhang Pakora

Bhang Pakora is an easy-to-make snack recipe. Made with gram flour, vegetables and bhang powder, this simple recipe is best served on occasions like Holi. Try this quick recipe with green or sweet chutney.

INGREDIENTS
2 cup gram flour (besan)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon dry mango powder
3 medium sliced onion
2 cup refined oil
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon bhang seed powder
4 chopped potato

How to make Bhang Pakora

Step 1

Mix chickpea flour, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, mango powder, bhang powder and water. Make a batter of dropping consistency.

Step 2

Mix sliced onions and potatoes in the batter. Allow it to rest for a while.

Step 3

Heat refined oil in a kadhai.

Step 4

Now scoop the pieces of vegetable out of the batter and drop them into the hot oil.

Step 5

Fry over medium heat, till they turn golden brown.

Step 6

Remove from oil and place them on kitchen towel to absorb extra oil.

Step 7

Serve hot with green chutney.
