Youth stabbed dead in Ctg
UNB, Chattogram

A youth was stabbed to death in Khulshi area of Chattogram on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Nahid, 21. He worked at a rickshaw garage.
Locals said he was killed over a quarrel but could not give much detail. Mohammad Jahangir, sub-inspector of Khulshi Police Station, said Nahid was stabbed with a screwdriver.
The SI said the young man might have been killed over previous enmity and added that details of the incident could not be known yet.


Man kills teen brother in capital
UNB, Dhaka

A young man was stabbed to death by his sibling in city’s Demra area on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Hossain Box, 19, son of Ali Box of the area.
Alim, a friend of the deceased, said Hossain was stabbed in the chest by his elder brother Hasan near their house in Purbo Boxnagar of the area following a quarrel over a small matter.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors announced him dead at around 7:30pm. Inspector Bacchu Mia of DMCH police outpost said the body had injury marks in the chest. The body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.


‘Jashne Julus’ on Nov 10
BSS, Chattogram

The traditional ‘Jashne Julus’ on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladnabi will be brought out in the port city on November 10. Anjumane Rahmania Ahmadia Sunniya Trust will organize the religious event to mark the occasion.
Chief of Darbar Alia Kaderia Siricot Sharif, Awlade Rasul Allama Muhammad Taher Shah (MJA) will lead the Julus (religious procession) on that day. Shahjada Alllama Syed Muhammad Kashem Shah and Allama Syed Muhammad Hamed Shah will remain present.
The holy Julus will be brought out from Alamgir Khanka Sharif of Solasahar at 9 am on November 10. It will parade the city roads through Bibirhat, Muradpur, Mirzapool, Katagonj, Chawkbazar, Parade corner, Sirajdowlla Road, Anderkilla, Cheragi Pahar, Jamal Khan Road, Kazir Dewri, Almas, Wasa and GEC crossing before terminating at Jamia Ground of Solasahar.
