The investigation officer (IO) of the case, lodged under the anti-terror act over the grisly militant attack at the capital’s Holey Artisan Bakery in 2016, finished placing his testimony in the trial.

After his testimony, defence counsels started cross-examining the IO and inspector of counter terrorism Humayan Kabir. Judge Md Mujibur Rahman of Dhaka Anti-terrorism Special Tribunal then adjourned the hearing till October 24 as the cross-examination remained unfinished.
