Three Hollywood films to hit Star Cineplex on Friday

Three Hollywood films--‘Toy Story 4’ directed by Josh Cooley, ‘Men in Black: International’ directed by F. Gary Gray and ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ directed by Chris Renaud--are set to hit the screens of both the Star Cineplexes in Bashundhara City Shopping Mall and Shimanto Shambhar of the capital on Friday.

From a screenplay written by Andrew Stanton and Stephany Folsom, ‘Toy Story 4’ is an American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures as the fourth instalment in Pixar’s ‘Toy Story series’, and the sequel to 2010’s ‘Toy Story 3’. The film stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Annie Potts, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Lori Alan, and Joan Cusack.

The film is scheduled to be theatrically released in Star Cineplex along with the United States release on June 21.

Besides, ‘Men in Black: International’ is an American science fiction action comedy film written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. It is a spin-off of the Men in Black film series, which is loosely based on the Malibu/Marvel comics of the same name by Lowell Cunningham. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, and Larry Bourgeois, Emma Thompson, and Liam Neeson, with Tim Blaney also reprise his role as Frank the Pug from the first two films.

On the other hand, ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ is an American 3D computer animated comedy film produced by Illumination, which is co-directed by Jonathan del Val, and written by Brian Lynch. It is the sequel to ‘The Secret Life of Pets (2016)’ and the second feature film in the franchise. The film features the voices of Patton Oswalt (who replaces Louis C.K.), Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, and Harrison Ford. l
