IU admission: 145 seats still remain vacant

A total of 145 seats remained vacant at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia after admitting students from merit and waiting lists under its 2018-19 academic sessions.

Deputy registrar of IU academic section ATM Emdadul Alam told UNB that a total of 62 seats are still vacant at 'B' unit under Humanities and Social Science Faculty while 78 seats under 'C' unit under Business Administration Faculty and 5 seats are vacant at 'D' unit under Applied Science and Technology Faculty. Details on the admission are available on the university website atwww.iu.ac.bd, he added.

Blood donation camp held at BRACU

BRAC University Business Club (BIZ BEE) along with BRAC University Community Service Club (BUCSC) and Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation have organised an event titled ‘Blood Donation Camp by BIZ BEE & BUCSC’ on Tuesday, says a press release.

The event started from 10am and ended at 5pm. A total of 205 bags of blood were collected by the successful participation of the people of BRAC University in the event on the university campus .

BRAC University Business Club (BIZ BEE, in association with Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, had organised Blood Donation Camp 2017 and 2018 where 153 and 178 bags of blood were collected respectively.  The success of the past two years has been carried out in this as year as well.
